Optional Add-On: Site Measure & On-Site Consultation for Express Decks (Kingston & County of Frontenac Only)
What’s included
This add-on is for clients who prefer an in-person site measure or an on-site meeting to review the proposed deck plans. Two staff members will attend for safety and coordination, allowing measurements to be taken and key details to be reviewed together on site. Standard service includes 1–2 hours on site plus travel time of up to 30 minutes each way; additional time can be arranged at an extra cost. This service is currently available only in Kingston and Frontenac County.
Scope and limitations
Site measures and on-site consultations are not included in our standard pre-designed Express Deck package and must be purchased separately. This service is intended to support general planning and confirmation of site conditions and is not a substitute for a legal survey or engineering review. Any additional professional services identified during the visit (such as surveying, engineering, or grading design) would be quoted separately.
Owner responsibilities
The owner is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property and that someone with decision-making authority is available on site at the scheduled time, if a meeting is requested. The owner must provide any existing drawings, surveys, or relevant documents in advance where possible, to help make the best use of the site visit time. Any required permits, access permissions, or utility locates remain the responsibility of the owner.
